Welcome to another Monday here at Your Daily Finance! It’s been a little crazy for me over the past two weeks and I’m finally getting back to my regular schedule. Both my wifey’s mom and my mom visited within the last two weeks so the house wasn’t the same.
You my have noticed that things slowed a little on the site but that’s was just a minor hiccup. I am always working in the background and as of this week it should be the normal two posts per week which I am actually thinking about increasing.
I was thinking about Monday being my posts, Wednesday one of my writers, and Friday’s being guest posts by other PF bloggers. If you looking to guest post hit me up!
Not sure yet if I am going to go with it are not but its in the works. Today I want to briefly talk about something that seems to get overlooked when we talk about money and finances. That something is your ATTITUDE.
What’s Your Attitude Towards Finances?
Something to be that seems to be fairly common with finances is that I find a lot of the people who are in bad situations have bad attitudes about finances. I mean know they are not upset with their finances, well not all of them, but the decisions they make it seem as if they don’t really care.
If you don’t really care about something how do you expect things to change or even get a little better. What’s amazing is that I have seen people be in debt by thousands of dollars and as they start paying off debt they change.
Their attitudes about things are just – well different. They don’t act the same or have the same patterns that got them in debt. Their attitude towards spending and savings change. What was once a NEED is now labeled a WANT and goes on the back-burner.
So Who Give’s a *F*?
Well you probably don’t if you are thinking this yourself and honestly that is where the problem starts. Your mental process and focus is off. Anyone can earn money but its your attitude towards working and how you make and spend that money that separates us.
You don’t have to be broke and in debt if you don’t really want to. Sure it is going to be harder for some people and easier for others but there are always options. It’s about what sacrifices are you willing to make, the chances you are willing to take, and the adjustments in your thinking process about what’s important.
Positive Attitude Brings Positive Change
Better results start with a better mindset. You have to truly think and believe that things will get better for them to get better. Whether its getting a better job or getting your finances in order you have to really really think that it can be done or you are just not going to get where you calm you want to be.
No one loses weight if they think negative thoughts about how much weight they are not going to lose. No one really gets ahead at a job that they complain about all the time. Your finances won’t get better if you keep with the whoa is me syndrome.
Get Off Your Ass and Do Something
Look let’s get the facts straight you can be as positive as you want to be but you have to make moves. Setting around thinking I’m going to make a million dollars is not going to earn you any money. Eating bon bon’s and saying I’m going to lose 10lbs isn’t the smartest way to go about losing weight.
Tony Robbins said something like if you have a garden with weeds, just saying I don’t have weeds in my garden is not going to make the weeds disappear. You have to get your lazy butt up and either pull them yourself or pay someone to do it. Either way someone is going to have to move and act.
Quit With the Complaining Already
Look I understand people have busy lives but please stop complaining about how your life is just too much. There are people out there that would kill to have the life you have just because their shit really sucks.
Sure you got bills but who created them? Are you doing all the things needed to pay them off? Did you stop by Starbucks this week? Watching cable? Went shopping for shit you don’t really need?
Not saying you have to stop doing those things, I’m just saying decide what things are actually priority and MAKE THEM A PRIORITY! Your attitude may not be the worst in the world but it doesn’t mean it doesn’t need an adjustment.
Readers what’s your attitude?
